365 BTS AB is recruiting on behalf of LMTE Transport for an experienced leader ready to take on a unique hybrid role. At LMTE Transport, you combine the operational responsibility of a Transport Manager with the strategic and commercial responsibility of a Consulting Director. You become the hub of the network – maintaining full oversight of daily transport operations while simultaneously building and developing the consulting business. LMTE Transport is a stable haulage company established in 1987, operating in road transport, freight traffic, and personnel leasing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and monitor daily transport operations to ensure delivery precision and cost-efficiency.
• Manage contacts with drivers, freight forwarders, customers, and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with laws, agreements, and safety regulations within transport.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of logistics consultants (HR responsibility, salary setting, competence development).
• Drive sales and business development – identify new assignments, build customer relationships, and negotiate contracts.
• Set the strategic direction for the consulting business and be responsible for budget, results, and profitability.
• Act as a senior advisor to customers on complex logistics and supply chain issues.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a solid background in transport and logistics and are now ready to take the next step into a leadership role. You have experience leading employees and driving business with profit responsibility. You are just as comfortable planning a truck route as presenting a strategy to the management team. You are business-minded, communicative, and have a knack for building trust with both employees and customers.

• Requirements: Experience in transport management and/or logistics control. Experience in HR and budget responsibility. Good proficiency in Swedish and English.
• Merits: Experience from the consulting or staffing industry. Knowledge of contract negotiation and service sales.

Employment Type

Full-time, permanent position with a start date as agreed. The position is located at the office in Årstaberg at LMTE Transport.
